The Operational Rates of Exchange listed herein are intended only for the internal record-keeping of the United Nations. No warranty of accuracy can be given and the United Nations shall not assume any responsibility in connection with the present publication of these rates. The U.N. Operational Rates are not to be used and quoted as historic or market rates by the general public, as the U.N. Operational Rates are not bank rates nor databases of the exchange rates. They are for internal use only by the U.N. and its agencies.
Any inquiries from the general public and entities other than the U.N. system will be disregarded.
Any attempts to use the U.N.O.R.E. as historical database or quote as market rates are discouraged as they are internal rate of the U.N. system.

At present, only the latest UNORE can be exported either as XML or Excel file by clicking on the hyperlinked selection at Operational Rates/Current page.
Inquiries from outside parties regarding the operational rates of exchange and the historical rates will be disregarded.
Sierra Leone redenominated its currency SLL effective 1 July 2022. The ISO currency code of the redenominated Leone is SLE; 1 SLE equals to 1,000 SLL.
Please note that the Lebanese pound has been quoted with Sayrafa rate since 1 Nov 2022.
Croatia adopted Euro as its official currency from 1 Jan 2023 at an exchange rate of 1 Euro for 7.53450 Croatian kunas.
Zimbabwe introduced a new currency with the temporary code, ZIG (Zimbabwe Gold). The U.N. Operational Rates of Exchange for the initial ZIG was set at 13.0156 effective 15 April 2024.
The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe had announced that ZIG to ZWL conversion factor of 2498.7242
And the temporary code, ZIG was assigned an official ISO currency code, ZWG, as of 25 June 2024. Since 30 June 2024, ZIG has been replaced with ZWG in this website. As a result, the rates of the temporary code ZIG are not available in the website. For the record, the rates of ZIG were; 13.431 effective 14 Jun, 13.243 effective 1 June, 13.665 effective 15 May, 13.381 effective 1 May, and 13.0156 effective 15 April 2024.
