Currency-Specific Foreign Exchange information:

Under this change, 100 old Syrian Pounds will be equivalent to 1 new Syrian Pound, without any change to its ISO code (SYP). During a 90 days transition period, both old and new denominations will circulate concurrently.

The UN Operational Rates of Exchange was updated to reflect this change effective 1 January 2026. The rate maintained as of 31 December 2025 is available through the historical rates link.
